This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be issued for services provided by Narayana Global Ventures Private Limited, operating under the brand name Narayana Solar. By confirming a solar project, making any payment, or availing our services, the customer agrees to this Refund Policy.
Scope of Refund Policy
This policy applies to all solar-related services offered by Narayana Solar, including consultation, site survey, system design, installation, commissioning, maintenance services, and related solar solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Advance Payments & Booking Amount
Any advance payment or booking amount paid to Narayana Solar is primarily used for project initiation activities, including site inspection, engineering design, documentation, procurement planning, and resource allocation.
Advance or booking amounts are non-refundable once the project scope, quotation, or system design has been shared and accepted by the customer.
Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered only under the following limited circumstances:
If Narayana Solar is unable to proceed with the project due to internal constraints
If the project is canceled before site survey, design work, or material procurement has commenced
If the management approves a written refund request
All refund decisions are subject to internal review and approval.
Non-Refundable Situations
No refunds shall be issued under the following conditions:
Project cancellation initiated by the customer after site survey, system design, or documentation
Delays caused by government approvals, DISCOM processes, net metering, or subsidy authorities
Change of mind after order confirmation
Issues related to manufacturer warranties of solar panels, inverters, batteries, or components
Delays due to force majeure events such as weather conditions, regulatory changes, or supply chain disruptions
Material Procurement & Custom Orders
Once solar panels, inverters, batteries, or other components are ordered or dispatched, the project becomes non-refundable. Custom-designed solar systems or site-specific engineering work are strictly non-refundable.
Government Subsidies & PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana
Narayana Solar assists customers with subsidy applications under schemes such as PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. However, subsidy approval, amount, and timelines are governed by government authorities. Any delays, rejections, or changes in subsidy policies do not qualify for refunds.
Refund Process
If a refund is approved, it will be processed within 7–14 working days through the original mode of payment or an alternative method as decided by Narayana Solar. Applicable administrative or processing charges may be deducted.
Limitation of Liability
Narayana Solar’s maximum liability, in case of any approved refund, shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the customer for the specific service in question.
Policy Modifications
Narayana Solar reserves the right to modify, update, or amend this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
